What we look for

We fund and staff projects where our consultants' own expertise is the thing that makes the difference. In practice that means energy work, technology infrastructure, and programming that puts either one to use.

• A 501(c)(3) organization, or a program operating under one.
• A specific, scoped need rather than a general funding request.
• A site we can reach, and a person on your side who can make decisions about it.
• Something that leaves you with a capability you can operate without us afterwards.

What we do not do

We do not make unrestricted grants, we do not fund operating costs, and we do not take on work that a general contractor would do just as well. Where the need falls outside what our consultants add to, we will say so rather than take it on badly.

How to start

1. Send us a short description of the site, the problem and the timeline.
2. We come back within two weeks with whether it fits and what we would need to scope it.
3. If it fits, we walk the site with you and a regional delivery partner.
4. The board approves funding, and the work is scheduled around consultant availability.
